HS Play 2015: Auditions for The Crucible

Each year the HS Theatre Department tries to offer a challenging piece of Theatre for ISM students to be involved in.  We typically choose a play with a big cast and room to incorporate a large ensemble. We also have a very large backstage and technical crew.  For example, last year 140 students were involved in some capacity with the show.

With this in mind, we encourage as many people as possible to attend auditions or sign up for crew .

The Crucible is a classic dramatic play from one of America’s most famous playwrights, Arthur Miller. It explores the events surrounding a small religious community who is dealing with accusations of witchcraft. Some of the most memorable roles in American Theatre come from this play so take the opportunity  to be part of the drama!

Key Dates

In addition, to after school rehearsals, we will be rehearsing most Saturdays up until the performance days of October 15th, 16th and 17th. People in ensemble should expect 2 days after school a week.
